France's main fund for world cinema co-productions. The next before-production filing day is 23 November 2026, then 2 March, 1 June, 1 September and 22 November 2027. After-production filings fall on 25 January, 9 April, 3 September and 15 November 2027. Filmmakers need a French co-producer to file.
- Who can apply
- A French production company applies, co-producing with one or more foreign companies. Foreign directors are eligible. Feature fiction, animation or creative documentary aimed at a French theatrical release, shot in a language used in the director's country or the filming location.
- What you get
- Up to 300,000 euros before production (up to 500,000 for French-initiative works budgeted at 2.5 million euros or more); up to 70,000 euros after production.

How to apply
- Find a French production company to act as co-producer and applicant.
- Agree the co-production structure and shooting language.
- Prepare the file in French with budget and financing plan.
- Have the French producer file online on the filing day.
Worth knowing
- Only complete files filed on the official filing days are accepted.
- A director's project can receive at most two before-production applications.
