Six-month series writing lab for four African writers, ending at Series Mania in Lille. The fifth edition call opened in July 2026 and the cohort runs 17 September 2026 to 27 March 2027. Writers leave with a pitch deck, pilot script and series bible.
- Who can apply
- African nationals aged 18+ who are writers with film or TV experience. The story must be set in Africa and made in English and/or a local language. No producer needed. Must speak English and commit to all residencies.
- What you get
- Monthly stipend of 1,250 euros, travel and accommodation for residencies in Ethiopia, Switzerland and at Series Mania. Writers keep the rights to their work.
