Venice's training and production programme for micro-budget first and second features. The 2026 international call ran 12 May to 6 July 2026, with a workshop on 6 to 15 October. The next call is expected on the same May to July pattern.
- Who can apply
- Director and producer teams from anywhere in the world. The director is making a first or second feature. The producer has made at least three audiovisual works, or a feature fiction or documentary distributed or shown at festivals.
- What you get
- A development workshop in Venice for selected teams making micro-budget features that cost no more than 200,000 euros. Up to four films are presented at the following Venice Film Festival.
